How do I set up and pair my sensor?

The Pivot Breath Sensor works with the Pivot app for your smartphone. Using your smartphone and the instructions below, complete the app installation and pair your CO Breath Sensor to the app.

1. Download and install the Pivot app on your smartphone. You can find it in both the App Store (iOS) and the Google Play Store (Android) by searching "Pivot Journey."

2. On your Smartphone, make sure that you have Bluetooth enabled. Open the Pivot App and proceed to the Get Started page where you will find the option to Pair your Pivot Breathe Sensor.

3.  Once the app finds your sensor, you will see a text box appear asking for a code on your phone.  That code will be shown on your sensor’s screen.  Enter the code from the sensor into the Pivot app on your phone.  Once connected, you’ll see “Devices Paired!” in the Pivot app.

After successful pairing, press continue and you will be directed to the Guided Breath Test page, where you will watch the Breath Sensor Tutorial video. The video provides instructions about how to use your Pivot Breathe Sensor to measure the amount of CO in your breath.  Watching this video is recommended before continuing further into the app.
