How do I put my sensor back in English from Spanish?
The order of things when you first receive the sensor is:
- Language selection
- Onboarding screens (introduction information)
- Then you end up on the Home screen, which in English looks like this:
Once on the Home screen, you can change the sensor's language by:
1. Selecting the Menu (using the side button)
- Selecting Settings (Configuración in Spanish) by using the center button to scroll and the side button to select
- Then go into Language (Idioma in Spanish).
- From there you should be able to select English.
You cannot change the language until you get to the Home screen. If you are still in onboarding, you can repeatedly press the center button until the screens stop advancing. Once you get to the last screen, press and hold the center button. The sensor will beep and start a breath sample.
To give the sample:
- Take a deep breath and hold it for 10 seconds
- When the sensor beeps three times, blow into the breath sensor, slow and steady, for about 12 seconds.
If you get any error messages after the breath test, they will be in Spanish so you may have trouble interpreting them. The most common issues are:
- Blew into the breath sensor too early (don't blow into the sensor until after the third beep)
- Didn't blow into the breath sensor soon enough after the third beep, or blew too soft so the sensor didn't detect your breath
- Didn't blow into the sensor for long enough (you need to blow for at least 6 seconds, but will get more accurate results if you blow for longer)
- Blew into the sensor too hard
After a successful breath sample, the sensor will show your CO level and a few other screens and go to the home screen.
